SPORTS AND ACTIVITIES
Annunciation B.V.M. School is a member of the Diocese of Harrisburg Catholic Youth Organization, recognized as being a competitive grade school athletic league in the Greater Harrisburg Area. Basketball teams go on to deanery and diocesan championships. The student body in grades 5 to 8 may participate in the athletic program, adhering to satisfactory academic performance and character development. The programs focus on providing an atmosphere of cooperation, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Parishioners and community members donate time for coaching and supervising events. The Annunciation B.V.M. Athletic Association governs the program and provides the personnel to accomplish the goals of the program.

Facilities
 An excellent gymnasium facility provides ample space for indoor activities
 A large, outdoor athletic field is well suited for outdoor events.

 Member of Harrisburg CYO League consisting of twenty teams in three divisions
 JV and Varsity teams for boys and girls (grades 3 - 8)

 Girls JV and Varsity teams (grades 5 - 8)

Softball
 Girls Grades 7 & 8 (Delone Catholic)

Football
 Junior High Boys (Grades 7 & 8 – Delone Catholic)

A physical examination is required prior to participation in the Sports Program. Students are required to be covered by accident insurance either individual or Diocesan insurance. Students may not participate on a day of absence from school due to illness or suspension.
