Parents want the best for their children. At Annunciation B.V.M. School we are dedicated to giving our children the very best we can.

Our 290 plus student body includes families from all walks of life who recognize the tremendous value of a Catholic education, founded on the teachings of Christ and Christian values. Often in an interview parents will say to me that this type of education produces a better student and individual. Children who receive a Catholic education are self-confident, have respect for each other and their world. They grow to be good neighbors.

Graduates of Annunciation B.V.M. School are living and working in all parts of the world serving in leadership positions in the church, educational institutions, the corporate world, government, law, medicine, research, the armed forces, technological sciences and many other fields requiring a fine educational background. I, myself received my elementary education in Annunciation B.V.M. School. It was the excellent instruction, the learning of faith and moral values, in a loving environment through the Sisters of St. Joseph that caused me to want to teach in a Catholic school, and to live a religious life, dedicated in service to the education of children.

Why the Success? Those committed to Annunciation B.V.M. School are convinced that our students succeed because of the rigorous curriculum, self discipline with a Christian focus, high expectations communicated to the students who internalize this value, and the commitment of parents who take an active role in the school fully participating in their child's education.

Upon your visit to the school you will have received prior information on the school's spiritual and academic program. Your interview with the Principal will involve a discussion on several aspects of the school.

  • The school's proven record of academic excellence
  • How the teachers will work closely with you for the good of your children
  • How we will continue the religious formation of your children begun at home
  • An explanation of the goals of the school
  • How we provide a challenging atmosphere

New students are interviewed with a copy of their progress report from the school currently attending. A tour of the school while the school is in session is provided with an invitation for the prospective student to come and spend a day at Annunciation B.V.M. School. The class schedule and calendar of events are provided to acquaint both student and parent with the daily program and activities. A new parent is provided the opportunity to speak to other parents having children in the school to gain insights into the school program from the parent perspective.

We offen an education that encompasses the development of faith, the building of community, global concerns and responsibility, commitment to service, and excellence in education and is the same gift offered at the time of the initiation of this school a century ago. The same values will propel our children into the 21st century well prepared to make a profound impact on the church, the local community, the nation, and the world.
