Father, sometimes I call them to line up, and

trailing clouds of glory do them come

from the playground, not quarreling,

but laughing and eager to get back to work.

And sometimes I can't believe

how good they are.  And I think,

"This is it. This is what it's all about.

And I can walk with kinds, because I am a teacher

And these are my sweet, beautiful students!"

But then I think,

"They've got to be up to something, right?"

One of the most important things you can do for your child this year is

to  have them read, read, read! 

Read with them, read to them, and listen to them read.
